Traditionally, the Dutch eat “Oliebollen”, drink champagne and light up the skies with fireworks, on New Years Eve. But buying a Staatsloterij “Oudejaarstrekking” lot is one of the things that cannot be missed either. For six years on a row now, we were responsible for creating the complete online campaign for the Oudejaarstrekking 2023 for Staatsloterij (The State Lottery) which revolved around a real love story…
Within a “Touch” phase of the campaign, we produced a whole bunch of Rich Media assets, of which takeovers were quite a big part. But also included were mobile Interscrollers, Framescrollers and Swipecubes to be fully present on mobile devices too.
From interactive banners in all flavors and sizes, to video creatives and natives. On desktop but also for all mobile devices. From buying an “Oudejaarslot” directly from the banner ad to watching a short (or full) version of the love story. From banners on specific content-related websites (for example the public transport and weather websites) to sales banners. We all did it within this campaign, which is traditionally the biggest and most important campaign for Staatsloterij.
